Matthew Tripp, PA-C is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science (Physician Assistant) in 1996 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Education in 1990. He started his Medical Carrer as an EMT with ProMed in Muskegon from 1992 to 1997. When he graduated with his Physician Assistant degree in 1996 his first job was Mercy ER in Muskegon and worked there until 1998. To spend more time with his wife and 5 children he moved to Hackley Occupational in 1998.
In 2000 he started part-time working at both Lakeshore Medical Center in Whitehall working in their Urgent Care as well as working at Behavioral Health providing medical care for the Inpatients while continuing to work for the Occupational Department. In 2012, Matt went full time at the Whitehall Urgent Care continuing with Behavioral Health.
Matt is a Cancer Survivor having been diagnosed in 2021. He returned to work in July of 2022 to the Urgent Care and worked there for a total of 24 years before becoming a staff member at Hackley Community Care November of 2024.
