Marissa Merry MPAS, PA-C received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin College in Indiana and received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Science from Michigan State University.
She is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). She is licensed in the state of Michigan as a Physician Assistant. Professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Marissa has been in healthcare for 6 years. She began her healthcare career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at DMC Huron Valley Siani in East Michigan. She later moved to Franklin, Indiana to pursue Physician Assistant School. Prior to joining Hackley Community Care, Marissa practiced as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant in rural medicine. Marissa is passionate about being an advocate for her patients and their healthcare goals. She enjoys working as a team with her patients to achieve their optimal health, as well as allowing them to be the driver of their needs with open communication and understanding.
Marissa is new to West Michigan and looks forward to being closer to family as well as Lake Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog Huey.
