Rhonda Byrne received her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology and Psychology, from Hope College and her Master’s of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan.
Rhonda has been practicing social work for over 30 years. Her work has included infant adoption services through Bethany Christian Services, homebased counseling and education as part of the Maternal and Infant Health Program, and, most recently, integrated behavioral health services within the Gerber Corewell Health Pediatric and Obstetrics and Gynecology offices. Rhonda is excited about her new role in the Hackley Community Care School Based Programs.
Rhonda employs a variety of therapies in her counseling. She routinely incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion regulation, play therapy, and psychoeducation in her sessions.
During her free time, you will find her outside exploring Western Michigan’s lakes and trails with family and friends. She loves to water ski, downhill ski, hike, and bike.
