My name is Katie Carpenter and I recently joined the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) community as their registered nurse. I graduated from the MCC Nursing program and worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Trinity prior to taking the HCC position. A west Michigan native, who loves giving back. A daisy nomination and being selected as a special guest speaker for Governor Gretchen Whitmer are just a few of the special things that have happened along the way.
I’ve always been passionate when it comes to Women’s Health. Educating, building relationships, and finding resources for all, in any walk of life is important to me. I embrace the complexity of motherhood and the village it takes to raise a family. Addressing the need for this specialty in the homes of the underserved communities brings life and health to those in it. I’m committed to walking alongside families in this time and extending grace, understanding, and support.
Outside of the work, I enjoy photography, walking, playing pickleball, catching a sunset but most of all keeping up with my four kids. I’m a proud soccer & cheer mom.
